Getting Help
From Support
1) To find answers to questions related to basic functionality of Moodle: Please consult the NTS Moodle Support website http://support.nts.edu (this website) and/or the Moodle Orientation course. Questions that fall into this category would be:
- How to turn-in (upload) assignments
- How to download assignments
- How to post to a discussion board
2) For questions related to how Moodle works for a particular course: Since the majority of these questions will relate to items directly under the instructor’s control, these kinds of questions should be first directed to the instructor:
- Availability of particular course content
- Where to upload assignments
3) For all other questions including Moodle functioning correctly (bugs): Also events that require access to features unavailable or unfamiliar to instructors, contact NTS Support. These type of problems may include:
- Any question an instructor is unable to resolve for a student.
- Any question that happens on days when an instructor will not be checking on her or his class.
- Any questions related to bugs in Moodle (e.g. Forums not functioning properly with a certain web browser.).
- Moodle crashes and other systems failure.
- User issues such as misspelled usernames, forgotten password, etc.
Contact NTS support by emailing: support@nts.edu
(In most circumstances you should get an e-mail response from NTS Support within 24 hours).
